Good university = good students. We gave special attention to education in country not only because we fell responsibility for youth’s future but also because “Siemens Ukraine” is interested in mutually beneficial cooperation with universities.

Siemens AG in cooperation with Otto von Guericke University of Magdeburg had established German technical faculty in Donetsk national technical university in 1992. The conceptual bases of professional education of German technical faculty consist of general engineering education in Ukrainian language and the German language special course. That allows organizing study process with maximum use of Ukrainian teachers and lecturers, and German technical literature, best German professors and modern explorations in modern electric power systems development. 250 students in five branches, such as electric drive and technology equipment automation, system programming, telecommunication systems and electric power plants, graduate this faculty every year. Siemens supply lab equipment for the faculty. Successful cooperation between Siemens AG and German technical faculty had enabled establishing Donetsk Engineering-technical center of 100% foreign investment venture branch establishment “Siemens Ukraine” in 1998 staffed up with German technical faculty graduates. Moreover all the volunteered students could do practical work for “Siemens Ukraine” or “Siemens Ukraine” Donetsk Engineering-technical center. Best students are rewarded with Siemens enterprise employment in Europe and Ukraine..

Since July 2005 “Siemens Ukraine” cooperates closely with Odessa communication academy. The cooperation includes science and study programs support. Special lab for connection line commutation, access, and organization practice training was equipped with Siemens equipment. Ukrainian Siemens training center (http://com.siemens.ua/ru/training/training_center) professionals were summoned to lecture and to be scientific advisers for diploma projects. And Academy teachers can do additional training in Institute of new Siemens solutions and with Siemens enterprise employment equipment. Now students could do practical work for “Siemens Ukraine”, best students are rewarded with personal grants and Siemens Telecommunications department employment after graduation.
