Maximilian Egger became EBA Board member11/28/2008 | 26 November nearly 300 EBA member companies convened for the big occasion to vote for 8 new EBA Board members at the Annual General Membership Meeting (AGMM). The Ambassador, Head of the Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine, HE Jose Manuel Pinto Teixeira attended the AGMM to meet the EBA business community. His greeting speech was focused on the significant importance of facilitating development and expansion of the EU-Ukraine relations and a significant role the EBA plays in this crucial process. He also outlined promising prospects for future collaboration with the European Business Association. Setting a brilliant example HE Jose Manuel Pinto Teixeira kindly agreed to become the EBA Board member. This step will enormously assist the EBA in receiving sustainable support and guidance from the European Commission. |
| In his keynote address, Vice-Prime-Minister of Ukraine on Eurointegration Mr Hryhoriy Nemyrya expressed his deep appreciation of the EBA great efforts in establishing close long-term cooperation with Government. He also thanked all the nominees to the EBA Board who submitted their applications and participated in the election procedure thus demonstrating their keen commitment to the Board’s goals. |
According to voting results officially announced at the EBA Annual General Membership Meeting, the new EBA Board for 2009 was chosen. Among new members is also the Siemens Ukraine CEO, Maximilian Egger. We congratulate Maximilian Egger for being elected as the EBA Board member and with all sincerity wish success in continuing the Siemens Ukraine tradition of active participation in the EBA. |
